Our Partners

We offer our customers a direct opportunity to make a purchase with a purpose.  In addition to the beneficial impact we realize through buying from our fair-trade artisans, a core objective of Alima’s Purse is to donate profits to carefully chosen and effective charities locally and abroad. As we grow, we hope that we can provide sustained support to truly make a difference in the lives of others.

Love146 is an international human rights organization working to end child trafficking and exploitation through survivor care and prevention. The trafficking and exploitation of children is one of the darkest stories and most severe human rights abuses imaginable. But for them, the hope of ending it is a reality. Love146 is helping grow the movement to end child trafficking while providing effective, thoughtful solutions. They believe in the power of love and its ability to effect sustainable change. Love is the foundation of their motivation.

Daniel's Table

The mission of Daniel’s Table is to alleviate hunger while preserving the dignity of everyone involved. It started in the largest “town” in America, Framingham Mass.  Like many towns and cities across the US, Framingham is challenged in it's efforts to find permanent solutions to feeding children, struggling parents and the homeless.  Daniel's Table currently supports the community with one food truck and seeks to create a successful and effective model for expansion that could be effective serving at-risk communitries in other cities and towns across America.

Michael's Childrens Village

The mission of Michaels Children’s Village ("MCV") is to see orphans and children-at-risk growing up in the love and security of a family. They recognized the vital need for a children’s center to take in the distressing number of orphaned, abandoned, and abused children within their South African community. Each house at MCV is home to 6-12 children who are identified by the local government welfare department and the MCV staff.  The children are placed within a family unit with a parental couple. The house parents are carefully chosen from within the local churches and receive specialized training by the MCV staff and Social Services to enable them to care for the children in the best way possible

My Brother's Keeper

My Brother's Keeper International ("MBKI") was founded in Israel in 2005 and exists to meet the educational and practical needs of vulnerable children and families living in poverty. They operate annual programs through cooperative partnerships with public and religious schools and kindergartens that serve children in low income neighborhoods.  MBKI is restoring hope and creating educational solutions.

Hope for Our Sisters

Hope for Our Sisters is an organization that provides surgical and medical care for African women and girls suffering from fistula, a condition brought about by obstructed child-birth or labor trauma.  Unfortunately, this condition often results in social and family isolation.  Their outreach is providing both physical and emotional healing. They partner with doctors, foundations, and others committed to caring for these women and girls and bringing an end to fistula.
